show being called 'King Charles'.<br>According to a press release from CNN Chairman & CEO Chris Licht, the show will air weekly on Wednesdays 'beginning in the fall and running into 2024.<br>'This show will be an exciting new way we are delivering culturally relevant programming and unique perspectives to our audience, from two incredibly dynamic personalities,' Licht's statement read. <br> <br /> 'We are excited that they are both able to join us in addition to their current respective roles with Gayle continuing to anchor CBS Mornings.  King Charles exemplifies the one-team, one-company mentality with Charles playing double duty at CNN and in his role at WBD Sports.' <br>This comes weeks that he was in talks with CNN on the weekly show, but said he was only considering the offer so As mentioned by Licht, Discovery, the same parent company that owns CNN.<br>King, the longtime host of CBS's morning news broadcasts, says that she wishes to host a show offering 'a good conversation without tearing other people down'.<br>'Clickbait' journalism doesn't seem to be the modus operandi for this program, as Barkley explained, 'We don't want to say "We're a liberal, conservative, Republican, Democrat" - that's one of the things that's already ruined television in general.' <br>CNN hopes that they could use this show to help boost their ratings, as primetime offerings from the channel have been slumping in comparison to their competition since the 2020 election.<br>
