The shock sale of a popular wedding reception venue in  has left devastated couples without a booking for their nuptials next year.<br>Owners of award-winning Ecostudio Fellini in Mudgeeraba on the  announced via email the venue had been sold and would not be able to host weddings booked for next year.  <br>The email told customers the sale of the venue - including the restaurant and accommodation - would occur on January 17, 2023.  <br>Couples eager to tie the knot have been left shocked, as the venue's email said they were 'unable to proceed with [the] wedding plans', the  reported.<br>      (image:  )    Ecostudio Fellini (pictured) at Mudgeeraba on the Gold Coast won best wedding reception venue in Queensland for 2014<br>      (image:  )    The property will be sold on January 17 and will undergo a year of renovations under the new owners<br>The venue in the Gold Coast hinterland is planned to be closed for redevelopment for at least 12 months by the new owners, 'experienced wedding venue operators' with 'exciting plans'. <br>An employee of the venue told Daily Mail Australia the venue was being sold for personal reasons and that refunds for all cancelled bookings would be paid in full after the settlement in January. <br>Customers shared their disappointment online, with one bride-to-be writing they 'have just dodged a huge bullet'.<br>  RELATED ARTICLES                                                                      Share this article                  Share                                  The woman was looking to book Ecostudio Fellini for her wedding, but shared she won't be using the venue after her friend was left without a booking only months before her wedding.<br>She was 'outraged' there would be 'no refund' until the property was sold. <br>An employee of the venue confirmed to Daily Mail Australia the friend of the social media poster had not provided their bank details to the venue so the refund was not able to be processed.<br>      (image:  )    Customers shared their disappointment online, slamming the venue for lack of communication<br>Another bride-to-be Steph Reis told the Gold Coast Bulletin she was devastated about the shock cancellation.<br>'It was the only venue we had looked at because it was the only venue that was within our price range and had everything we wanted,' Ms Reis said.<br>'I just thought it was a bit careless not to give us a call.<br>'I do understand they're a business and things happen, but on a personal scale, it absolutely sucks.'<br>Ms Reis said she had booked the venue because it was affordable, but now she doesn't 'know if we can afford to get married now'.<br>Another customer shared on Facebook she 'feel[s] for the couples who are (booked) earlier in the year than us' and was 'disappointed with the lack of communication' from the venue. <br>      (image:  )    Located in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Ecostudio Fellini is set on five acres of land and offered a wedding venue, accommodation, corporate spaces and a restaurant<br>Samantha Taylor-Reynolds, a director of another wedding venue in the region, told the Gold Coast Bulletin she is trying to accommodate the couples whose bookings had been cancelled.<br>'We feel for their situation. We are quite busy, but we do have some availability. <br>'We're talking to couples about the remaining dates we have left and hopefully we can help them out.'<br>The wedding venue has been open for almost 18 years and won the Australian Bridal Industry Academy's award for best wedding reception venue in Queensland for 2014. <br>Under the house of Ecostudio Fellini, the property also houses two other businesses - a private corporate venue The Summer House, 'regional hub' sustainable eatery The Barn, as well as accommodation. <br>      (image:  )    Carlo Percuoco (pictured) managed the family-owned property after his restaurant went into liquidation<br>The venue's owner, Carlo Percuoco, was unable to be reached for comment.<br>Mr Percuoco's Gold Coast restaurant Ristorante Fellini & Pastificio Fellini went into liquidation in April 2021, after Covid-19 restrictions killed tourism in the area.<br>The restaurant was known for it's high-rolling patrons since it opened in 1993 including the Rolling Stones, Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.<br>It would have been able to survive if not for the pandemic, Mr Percuoco told the Courier Mail at the time, but there had been a slowdown in tourism numbers on the Gold Coast after the 2018 Commonwealth Games. <br>The restaurant's liquidation resulted in Mr Pecuoco's involvement with the restaurant at his family's Ecostudio Fellini venue. <br>Ecostudio Fellini was once among the city's most sought after venues. <br>                                data-track-module="am-external-links^external-links">  Read more:                  DM.later('bundle', function()        DM.has('external-source-links', 'externalLinkTracker');    );  my web page ...  http://sergiubaluta.com/site/redirect.php?url=https://togelshiohk.com/
