BEES 2.0

This group is here to discuss all matters pertaining to the BEES upgrade project.

Heardle and Nerdle are good Worldle alternatives.

After sweeping the internet and being bought by the NYT for $700,000, Wordle needs no introduction. We love Wordle, a pretty simple and extremely addicting game, but there's a universe of challenges beyond the 56 word grid.

These choices cover math to geography. Whether you're taking a vacation from Wordle or never want to play again, this list may have something for you.

Redactle

We enjoy Redactle's variation on Wordle. Guess the Wikipedia-edited terms. In the beginning, you don't have much to do, but it becomes easier as you input more words and read the article.

Quordle

Quordles is a Wordle alternative. It follows the same principle as Wordle and is still based on five-letter words, but this time four of them must be worked through in a total of nine guesses, which adds a lot of difficulty since you're attempting to keep four separate Wordles in mind at once.

Nerdle

Nerd swaps words for sums in a Wordle-like format; there's always an equals sign. As with Wordle, each guess provides you hints about how close you are to the answer. Fun method to test or develop math abilities.

Semantel

Semantle is exclusively for individuals who seek a tough Wordle-like challenge. It takes practice to predict a word based on semantic similarity to past guesses. You must be creative to identify word links.

Audible

You get one second to start (and 16 seconds total) to estimate a song's beginning on audible. You may skip a guess if you need more time, but it counts as one of six tries to name the music from a database.

Absurd

Absurd expands Wordle's use. Every time you guess incorrectly, the problem answer changes, but you have an infinite amount of tries. It's better than it sounds.

Waffle

Waffle is a playful Wordle replacement. The game's name derives from the grid where you rearrange letters to produce six words in 15 movements. Smart people can solve any waffle problem in 10 moves.

Antiwordle

Antiwordle is the polar opposite of Wordle, where the goal is to lose rather than win. If you predict a non-word letter, you can't use it again, limiting your available combinations.
